This parallel hook serves as a shortening hook for shortening chain legs. The special design of the chain support enables an optimal interaction between chain and hook. A reduction of the chain sling‘s load capacity is not necessary when shortening of chain legs to desired length is performed. The hook complies with EN 1677-1 with mechanical values for G6 and fulfils DIN5692 requirements.
